It's been a foregone conclusion for a while, but now it's official. HighHolder Brewing Company is no more.
HighHolder's Wisconsin beer production permit expired on August 31. The brewery, which began selling its beer in 2018, hadn't produced beer since March of 2020. Mike Schlosser of HighHolder said late last year that he anticipated getting the brewery back to full production in early 2021. It never happened. And now we’re back to having three breweries in Oshkosh.
I've been tracking the HighHolder story on this blog since 2015 when the project was launched as Sawdust City Brewing. After all they went through to get this brewery going, it's a damned shame this didn't work out
