
The Oshkosh Landmarks Commission has a new program recognizing historically significant buildings and the building 462-464 N. Main is the first to receive a marker. Designed by Oshkosh architect William Waters and built in 1884, it was home to the Schlitz Beer Hall before the turn of the century. This joint has a history that’s certainly worth recognizing.
