Now what makes that announcement special is that it was published on November 11, 1921. That's almost two years after the start of Prohibition. They didn't really expect Oshkoshers would stop drinking, did they? The Pommerening who was arrested was one of a half-dozen men nabbed in Oshkosh for drunk and disorderly that particular Saturday evening.
